BACKGROUND
Since 1978, Donald A. Gardner Architects, Inc. has been revolutionizing the residential design industry. From award-winning pre-designed house plans and modification services to marketing assistance for developers and builders, this full-service residential design firm has helped originate various sister companies while diversifying within, implementing their vast knowledge and experience to specialize and strengthen every aspect of their designs and services. Each new design is a unique interpretation of the American family home. Incorporating the diversity of styles that shape the United States, their plans have in turn gained massive appeal to families across the globe. Happy clients in 49 states prove that Donald A. Gardner Architects, Inc. delivers on its promise - to provide innovative designs that fit the lives and budgets of today’s families.
Known as the one of the nation’s leading residential architects, Donald A. Gardner, AIA, NCARB has had designs featured in consumer and trade publications such as: Southern Living™, Better Homes and Gardens™, Home, House Beautiful, Builder, Garlinghouse, and Home Planners/Hanley Wood publications. With a reputation for designing affordable portfolio plans with custom-styled features, the demand for his firm’s pre-designed homes is widespread among builders, developers, and homeowners. The portfolio has expanded to include more than 850 pre-designed house plans, with nearly fifty new plans added each year. The firm has published the builder-oriented DesignsTM magazine since 1994, releasing three issues each year.
Donald A. Gardner Publishing, LLC was formed in 2003 to publish and promote the portfolio of Donald A. Gardner Architects, Inc. in the consumer market. Focusing on high-quality, full-color plan books and magazines, the goal of Donald A. Gardner Publishing, LLC is to become the most highly respected provider of house plan publications, offering informative, educational content to aid consumers and builders in their house plan selection and building processes. Donald A. Gardner Publishing, LLC produces the quarterly consumer newsstand magazine, At Home with Donald A. Gardner.
Committed to excellence, Donald A. Gardner Architects, Inc. has won more than 65 awards for house plans, Parade homes and publications, while being members of various industry and business organizations - from the American Institute of Architects to the Better Business Bureau.
Begun as a one-man, part-time business, Donald A. Gardner Architects, Inc. has expanded to more than 65 employees, including four registered architects. Located in Greenville, SC, Donald A. Gardner Architects, Inc. focuses on customer service and marketing.

Donald A. Gardner Publishing, LLC publishes At Home With Donald A. Gardner magazine, a consumer-focused home plan magazine distributed nationally, and a series of home plan trade books.
Designs Direct Publishing, LLC creates consumer-focused national plan magazines in conjunction with other top designers, including titles such as Designer Dream Homes and Designer Dream Homes Presents.
Gardner, Santerini, Gardner, Rudisill Foundation (GSGR) is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to families that experience illness or poverty.
