Designed by Donald A. Gardner Architects, Inc., the 2005 Progressive Farmer Idea House and Farmstead is located in the equestrian community of McLendon Hills, near Pinehurst, North Carolina.

The newest Idea House and Farmstead — the third in a series of idea-packed homes, barns, gardens, ponds and pastures — offers dozens of ideas for country living.

The Idea House & Farmstead will be open Thursday through Sunday, from June 30 through September 25, 2005. Hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm, and Sunday 1pm - 5 pm.

Admission for the Idea House is $5.00, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Sandhills Children’s Center.
