Conceptual design 1512 is an updated version of The Blakely house plan 839 and The Raleigh house plan 1303. The exterior is a mix of vertical and horizontal siding and a dormer is at the center of the roof with gables on each side. A front entry garage makes this home more accessible for small or narrower lots and a front porch creates a welcoming entry.

The floor plan makes the most of its square footage with a foyer that opens directly to the great room. A coat closet is available for guests and the great room enjoys a cathedral ceiling, with decorative beams, that continues to a rear screened porch. The u-shaped kitchen has a window above the sink, abundant counter space, and an island with prep-sink. The dining room is open and equally suited for casual dining or hosting dinner guests. The garage entry passes though the utility room and a drop zone with a closet, built-in seat and lockers offers a spot to drop coats, bags and shoes. Double doors create a grand entry to the master suite and a cathedral ceiling tops the space. The master bathroom enjoys separate vanities, a freestanding bathtub, and a walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms are to the opposite side of the floor plan and they share a hall linen closet and a bathroom with a double sink vanity. An optional bonus room upstairs provides additional square footage for a recreation room, guest suite or future expansion.
