Conceptual Design 1559 is a narrow cottage with a rustic exterior. Cedar shakes complement the simple siding exterior and rustic garage doors accent the front-entry garage. Columns frame the front porch and create a welcoming entry.

The foyer and garage entries share a common mud room with a coat closet, bench seat, and built in storage. The utility room is adjoining and offers a linen closet and laundry sink while extra storage can be found in the garage. A powder room and pantry provide convenience.

The great room is cozy with a coffered ceiling and fireplace and opens to a rear porch with skylights. The kitchen centers around a spacious island and overlooks the dining room. Two master bedrooms are on the first floor and each has a walk-in closet and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and dual-sink vanity.

Upstairs, find a third bedroom with a full bathroom and an optional bonus room. A linen closet and built-in shelves provide ample storage and display space.

Very nice, this gives me what I was looking for in plan 1556. I see where I can punch out the master bath if needed but this is a very nice plan.

Love everything except closet space! Masters need much larger storage.

I love the idea of having 2 bedroom on the first floor, but a 12x13 master bedroom seems small. Any chance of enlarging one of them, perhaps master #1?

Hi Pamela - thank you for the feedback on our conceptual plan 1559. We currently don't have plans to enlarge either of the master bedrooms, but if you purchase plans from us we do offer modification services or you can have plans modified by someone locally. But I will pass along your feedback to our designer regarding larger master bedrooms.

We have been looking at 1680 to 2000 sq ft homes and there are very few that offer a garage that is 25" deep and I would like to see the option of a screened in porch with this plan. Just a thought - Julie
