Conceptual design 1563 is an updated version of The Tanglewood house plan 757. A simple siding exterior is complemented by a stone skirt and gables.

The foyer offers a coat closet and accesses an open floor plan. The dining room is defined by a tray ceiling and a column and leads to a spacious island kitchen. A cathedral ceiling connects the kitchen with the great room and a fireplace is the centerpiece of the room. Double doors open to a screened porch with skylights and a cathedral ceiling. This floor plan offers many conveniences including a drop zone just inside the garage entry with a seat and built-in storage and a pantry.

The master suite gains vertical height from a cathedral ceiling while dual walk-in closets lead to an efficient master bathroom with a dual sink vanity and a walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms share a bathroom and linen closets provide storage space.
