Conceptual Plan 1629 is an updated version of The Gemma house plan 1587 and The Tanglewood house plan 757. This small cottage features a simple siding exterior enhanced by shutters, rustic gable trusses, and a stone chimney. The two-car garage provides a side-entry and a storage bay.

The front porch leads into a foyer with a coat closet. A tray ceiling and columns define the space of the open dining room. The great room enjoys a fireplace and a vaulted ceiling that continues into the island kitchen. A pantry and utility room are nearby for convenience.

The hallway leading to the master suite offers built-in shelves for books or artwork. The master bedroom is spacious and topped with an elegant tray ceiling. Delightful amenities await in the master bathroom with a double vanity, freestanding bathtub, walk-in shower, and an adjoining walk-in closet. Two additional bedrooms are across the floor plan with a shared bathroom.

Great looking plan ! I want a plan with less than 56 feet wide . I like the larger master closet . I could always add a half bath in the hallway to master and move the door to master on left of fireplace . I may have to make it a front load garage .

Very cute plan. I think I would switch the washer/dryer and the folding counter. When you enter from the garage you may want to use the folding counter as a landing zone. And when carrying laundry from the main house you can the go straight to the washer/dryer.
