About the builder: J&R Custom Builders, LLC
Joe Rollins and Rick West started a joint venture to build high-end custom homes in 2005. Joe owned JR Contracting, Inc., a framing business. Rick owned Suburban Builders of Tidewater, Inc., a new homes construction company. They joined together to build homes of the highest construction quality, while giving superior customer service. The joint venture was very successful with Rick running the business side and Joe building the homes.
The joint venture was so successful they decided to start a new company: J&R Custom Builders. Joe and Rick wanted this company to follow two simple principles: outstanding quality and superior service. They both felt that there was a need for high quality custom home-builders who also treated their customers and subcontractors better than others.
Following those principals, they have built a referral base home building company. They invest in very little advertising at J& R Custom Builders. Most people who build with us are referred by our past clients. Joe and Rick’s goal is to insure that every customer they build a home for is so pleased with their experience that they provide J&R Custom Builders with the highest complement of all, a referral to a friend or family member.
