Conceptual Design 1584 is a one-story version of The Silvergate house plan 1254-D. The exterior is rustic with timber posts along the front porch and decorative gable brackets. Siding and board-and-batten complete the façade while multiple gables, dormers, and bay windows with metal roof accents enhance curb-appeal.

A coat closet is just inside the foyer entry. The great room is comfortable with a coffered ceiling and a fireplace and living continue to the rear porch with skylights. The kitchen centers around an island and a pantry is nearby for storage. The dining room features a vaulted ceiling and is perfect for casual meals and family dinners alike.

The master suite is a private wing with a tray ceiling and two large walk-in closets. The master bathroom also has an elegant tray ceiling and couples will enjoy a dual-sink vanity, freestanding bathtub, and a walk-in shower. Additional bedrooms include a flexible bedroom/study and a private bedroom opposite the master suite with a walk-in closet and access to a linen closet.

The garage enters the home through a mud room with a drop zone and built-in seat and a side porch grants access from the outdoors. A utility room with laundry sink, a full bathroom, and a coat closet complete this multi-functional space and an optional bonus room is upstairs along with a full bathroom for a guest suite or media room.

Nice House, I think Master Bedroom is Small for Most people, As a Realtor and Builder think Master should be a little bigger to allow furniture placement. Maybe extend the side wall of Master bedroom and Master Bath to be even with the closet. It would not take away from curb appeal and add a little more space for shower and soaking tub.

Like Eileen I have been looking for a floor plan similar to this one with the rear dining off the kitchen facing the lake. Plus the bonus room with bath to use as a bed room for extended family mainly grandkids. Now how would I extend the rear covered porch area to have the rear as our outside entertainment area as the back of the house is where the action on the lake will be going from sun up to sun down. Nice concept for keeping it under 2100 sqft. Could I get the third car garage on the right so I can store my boat in the winter and have a garage door on both ends to easily get all the lake toys out and put them away with out walking around the house.

I really like this floorplan! The rooms are good sized, including the dining room and great room. Big enough MBR closet too. All of this in under 2100 square feet. I've been looking for a floor plan like this for awhile.

This is a great looking house front and back.....so many times little attention is paid to the rear of the house, but not in this case. I would like to see floor plans that do not walk right into the great room....hard to find those.

Please design more homes with the laundry room near the master bedroom closets. This especially works well when the home is planned for empty nesters.
