Conceptual Plan 1656 is a hillside walkout version of The Sloan house plan 1528. This modern farmhouse design features a mix of horizontal and vertical siding while rustic gable trusses and metal roof accents enhance the façade.

The front porch opens to an elegant foyer entry with decorative ceiling beams. A vaulted ceiling tops the great room, and a fireplace creates a cozy gathering area. The kitchen centers around an island and a walk-in pantry is nearby for easy storage. Rustic beams highlight the vaulted ceiling above the dining room.
