"Growth in Housing Starts Drives Home Plan Innovation at Donald A. Gardner Architects."

Recent Census Bureau data points to a 35% increase in U.S. housing starts in the first quarter of this year versus the same time last year. We have anticipated this trend with some of our newest home designs, especially our small, country and craftsman home plans. These new home plans feature extra storage, bonus rooms and large open spaces for family living and entertaining. The Runnymeade

Compact yet charming, this home includes all the details of a much larger home. The European exterior features a stone entrance and copper roofing over the bedroom/study window.

Materials lists are available for most of our home plans and can help you estimate the cost of building the plan by providing details on the materials required to construct the home as the plans have laid out. Our Materials List is a quantitative take-off estimate of the materials required to build the home. This list does not include finished materials (i.e. paint, carpet, etc.), electrical, mechanical or plumbing materials, as these items are customer specific.
