Barndominium Floor Plans

Barndominium designs are named based on their resemblance to a traditional barn, merging barn with condominium. Typically two stories with simple siding and gable rooflines, the barndominium style is easily recognizable. Barndominium home plans are much more than just converted barns, though. Today designers are crafting luxury house plans to meet the demand for an elevated barn-to-home aesthetic. On the outside, expect to find board-and-batten siding, prominent stone chimneys, large glass doors and windows, and multiple outdoor living spaces. Inside, imagine bright natural light from all the glass and skylights, completely open living spaces, and highly functional amenities like a kitchen island, spacious pantry, mudroom, and multifunctional utility room. The master suite is on the first floor with two additional bedrooms while a bedroom, open loft, and bonus room complete the second floor. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom are on the second floor with an optional bonus room for expansion.
